It has established a leading position in the large aerospace and defense market where its Encrypted Email and File Collaboration System are adopted to meet compliance and cybersecurity mandates. The company is entering a phase of accelerated growth driven by new defense compliance regulations. Its customers are predominantly small to midsize defense companies, but also include very large multinational enterprises.
Currently PreVeil’s marketing efforts generate most of the leads, which come inbound. The company’s core marketing strategy is anchored on content excellence. Over 20,000 prospects download gated white papers and attend company webinars. The website draws over 250K annual visitors, the majority coming to the site through blogs. Content marketing efforts include a successful YouTube channel with ~150K views and over 15000 ad clicks.
The position offers an exceptional opportunity for a talented marketing professional with a passion for excellence to use their writing skills in a high impact, high growth environment. The marketing manager will work with a team of highly experienced external writers who are among the top in their profession and be able to further refine their craft. The position also provides an opportunity to grow their marketing operations skill set.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for

  • Writing concise blogs, emails, social media posts and opinion pieces for journals to generate inbound leads and content engagement. We seek excellence in writing, specifically the ability to distill technology and compliance concepts into accurate but readable content for a generalist reader. The Economist offers a good model for the type of content writing style we strive for.
  • Generate weekly marketing operations data on content consumption from Hubspot, Website and YouTube to inform and refine new content development and growth in views and readership.
  • Help grow our YouTube following through editing as well as distributing existing content


  • 1-3 years of B2B experience in technology space
  • Experience with high impact writing for a technology / scientific business – writing samples that demonstrate excellence in technology writing will be required.
  • Familiarity with demand generation marketing tools like Hubspot (or similar) and a metrics-oriented approach to marketing is a plus
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity is a plus but not essential
  • Firm understanding of marketing funnel and what content can be used to move prospects through its stages
  • Must be a self-motivated, clear thinker
  • Ability to lead and own your area with confidence
  • Undergraduate degree with a track record of writing in school and college
