PreVeil’s Email Gateway is a secure, compliant alternative to DoD S/MIME certificates
Thousands of defense contractors use PreVeil’s encrypted email to satisfy DFARS 7012, NIST 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 requirements. Leveraging PreVeil’s Email Gateway, the PreVeil system can interface with a standard SMTP-based email network so that defense contractors using PreVeil can seamlessly share email with DoD Primes and government agencies in a secure and compliant manner.
For Primes and Government agencies collaborating with defense contractors using the PreVeil system via the Email Gateway, individual S/MIME certificates are redundant. The PreVeil Gateway ensures FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption based on TLS V1.3 and PreVeil’s own NIST-validated encryption algorithms and user authentication is validated by an ECA-signed server certificate on the Gateway itself.
